How much does a memorial photo cost?
Every new photo or AI refinement uses one credit. Packs cost $4.90 for 10 credits, $9.90 for 20, or $19.90 for 40. There is no subscription or free-generation allowance. You can select photos before signing in; Google or email sign-in preserves your selection. An empty balance opens secure embedded Stripe Checkout.
Who can access the photos I upload?
Your images are not placed in a public gallery or posted to social networks. We use a third-party AI service to process the photos and editing instructions needed for your request. Private storage does not mean processing happens only on your device, or guarantee that third parties never use data for training. Please read the privacy policy before uploading.
Will AI preserve my loved one's face exactly?
No exact likeness is guaranteed. The goal is a believable family photograph with consistent identity, lighting, perspective, skin tone and grain, not a sticker-like collage. AI can change expressions or recognizable features. Compare the result with the original portrait before keeping it, and do not treat an attractive result as proof of an accurate likeness.
Is this affiliated with a funeral home or social network?
No. PhotoMemorial AI is an independent photo tool and does not provide grief counseling, identity verification, or automatic social publishing.
Can I add a deceased loved one to a wedding or group photo?
You can use a wedding or group photograph as the base and one portrait as the reference. Leave space for the added person and choose similar camera angles. Crowded groups and tiny faces make a convincing edit harder. This two-image workflow does not guarantee that every person, outfit or background detail will stay unchanged.
Can I use an old, scanned or blurry portrait?
A clear scan of an old print can be useful. Crop away the scanner border, not the person's face, and avoid glare when photographing a print. Severe blur or missing facial detail gives the model less evidence and may produce an unfamiliar face. The tool is not a guaranteed restoration service; use a clearer reference when possible.
Does downloading use another credit?
No. Downloading an existing successful paid image again is free. One credit is used only when you request a new generation or AI refinement. A new generation can change facial features, poses and other details; review each result before printing or sharing it.
How do I refine a memorial photo?
After a paid result exists, use the refinement controls to describe one specific change, such as softer lighting or a more natural placement. Each refinement costs one credit. AI may also change details you did not mention, so compare the full image afterward. Refinement is not a promise of exact, pixel-level editing or perfect identity preservation.
What happens if generation fails?
If generation fails, its reserved credit is returned automatically. If the result is delayed, check your generation history before submitting again. A completed image that you dislike is different from a failed generation. Review the synthetic examples and AI limitations and read the refund policy before buying credits. Downloading an existing paid result uses no additional credit.
Can I delete my uploads and memorial photos?
Yes. Delete saved tasks from My photos & history, or close your account to remove your photo assets. Older unclaimed guest results expire after seven days. Payment records may be retained for legal and financial obligations. See the privacy policy for provider processing and browser draft details.
