Repair a worn family photograph or add natural-looking color to a black-and-white print. Keep the familiar face and the character of the original in view.
Upload a scan or a phone photo first. Choose repair or colorization, then sign in when you are ready. Each new image uses 1 credit.

A scanned print or a clear, evenly lit phone photo
1 credit per image or 10 per five-second silent video. Packs start at $4.90 for 10 credits; no subscription or free generation. Existing downloads are free.
Old photo restoration creates a new edited copy of a scratched, faded or damaged family photograph. Choose repair to keep a black-and-white photo monochrome, or use the photo colorizer to add plausible color. It can reduce visible damage, but missing detail may be reconstructed rather than recovered. A sharper face is not always a more faithful face.
Take the photo out of reflective glass when possible. Photograph it straight on in even light, with flash off, or scan the print. Include the whole image and keep the best original file. A tiny face, strong reflection or scratch across an eye gives the model less reliable information.

Repair is a starting point for scratches and fading. Choose colorization for a black-and-white image. These are separate edits; a second generation uses another credit.
Inspect the face first, then the whole photograph. Download the copy you like, keep the original, and use the feedback control if an edit changes something important. Output dimensions and format depend on the returned image; the download does not add a watermark.
That is the aim, but it is not guaranteed. AI may reconstruct missing features or alter an expression. Compare the result with the original, especially the eyes, nose, mouth, familiar age and skin texture. Keep the original file.
Choose the change you want before generating: repair damage or add natural color. Colorization makes a new interpretation of black-and-white material. It cannot establish the historical color of skin, clothing or a room.
Yes. Photograph the print straight on in even light and avoid glare, flash and strong shadows. A scan or a well-lit phone photo usually supplies more useful detail than a compressed screenshot.
Each repair or colorization uses 1 credit. The Starter pack includes 10 credits for $4.90, with no subscription or free-generation allowance. The same credits also work for memorial composites and photo animation. Downloading an existing result does not use another credit. Unused credits may qualify for a proportional refund within 14 days of purchase under the Refund Policy.
A confirmed technical generation failure returns the reserved credit automatically. If the status is still processing, check My photos before starting another attempt. A completed edit with an unwanted artistic change is different from a technical failure.
No automatic public gallery is created. Generating sends the selected photo and instruction to an external processing provider, and the result is stored in your private account history. Review the privacy policy before submitting sensitive photographs.
